This weekend my boyfriend and I took a road trip to Quebec City. The feel of this city was very European. Although I have been here before, this was his first time. He LOVED it. Way more than he anticipated anyway. We managed to see everything we wanted to see. We were even able to sneak in a nice venture to Montmorency Falls.

Photo ops of the street we were staying on. It was beautiful, no?

Maple covered onion rings and the best poutine EVER.

Such a pretty view of the Frontenac Hotel.

This used to be a prison. We took a tour on our last day. It was quite entertaining.

Quebec was also certainly ready for St. Patty's Day.

Naturally, I made us stop at a maple shop for some maple syrup on snow.

Late night stroll to dinner through the wall. A chillier walk than was anticipated.

Montmorency Falls, unfortunately I misjudged on how to actually walk across it. It still looked nice from afar.

"Don't go chasing water falls"

It was a little bright, but such a nice day!

We soon discovered there used to be a lot of old prisons in Quebec. This old prison for instance is now an art museum.

Best beer in town!

This would be the Morrin Centre from the previous photo. Old prison, turned college, now museum/ tourist attraction.

If heaven doesn't look like this, I'm not interested! Seriously such a stunning library. It took my breath away! The top half is restricted to the public, however the bottom half is a local library.
