Anna and the Swallow Man

My grandmother being from Poland, I could not help but to feel sad while reading this novel. Things people had to go through during the Holocaust were inexcusable. It breaks my heart knowing children actually had to endure struggles such as these. I could not imagine life without my father, and finding refuge in a stranger.
