This novel screamed "read me". I read this while on my final consolidation placement in nursing. While I was at the bookstore, from the moment I read what this book was about I knew I would love it. The entire book is consisted of compiled letters a young girl writes to an inmate on death row. He had killed someone, and throughout her letters she tells the story of how she had done the same. Although the ending was a little anticlimactic, I could not help but to sympathize for the girl because she was so deeply burdened. You'll never even be able to guess what happened until the end. The book will swallow you up. Despite the slightly anticlimactic ending, you won't regret this read.
