Okay, so although it's been a while since I have read this novel, it has always stuck with me. I had always thought of Peter Pan in Neverland whenever I read this book. I was both appalled and impressed with the story. The level of adaptability of the children and leadership from them was admirable. However, they were also savages and definitely needed a parent on board the island. I had goosebumps throughout the book. It is definitely something I will likely read again for a leisurely quick read.

“To me, Fearless is not the absense of fear. It's not being completely unafraid. To me, Fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, Fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death.”
