I will admit, the hype from this book had me super excited to read it. Now, having read this book, I don't exactly understand the hype. I agree it was a relatively put together book with some cute stories, and the essays were well written. I am not sure how well this book would have been received had Marina not died so tragically. Through these stories, it is evident she was passionate about her writing. I think that is what kept me powering through and assisted in my enjoyment. I did, however, really enjoy the essays concluding the book. I would not push someone to read this, however, if your bored I would not discourage.
