This book started off cute. It was a little high school romance, first crush kind of story. It was approximately quarter way through where it took a depressing turn. One character gets his heart strings pulled and messed around with, while the other makes her best attempts to fight through tragedy. My heart broke for the girl, as she tried to find happiness at the expense of her friends. I was disappointed with the last quarter of he book, yet I still found myself crying on my friends balcony in Miami at the end. I'd definitely recommend this book to the teenage population rather than adults. I wouldn't read it again, but I'm glad I got to read the story.
